As Director, Sophie is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the business, while looking for new and exciting opportunities to expand and improve Comtec’s services. With experience working previously as a management consultant with a wide range of international companies, Sophie brings a keen understanding of the challenges in marketing brands overseas and overcoming the language barrier in business.
A German language graduate herself, Sophie is a passionate linguist who has enjoyed learning a wide variety of languages, including French, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Simplified Chinese. She believes strongly in getting young people to start learning languages. So much so that she has even arranged Spanish classes for her three-year-old daughter. “They’re never too young to start!”
